“My goodness, what an honour to celebrate this JUNO Award for 'The Lemonade Stand' tonight,” says Townes. “Thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing this record to life, and especially thank you to every single one of you who listened to these songs and wrapped your arms around them.”

The JUNO Award follows Townes’ three Canadian Country Music Award wins from September 2020 for Female Artist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year and Video of the Year for "Jersey On The Wall (I'm Just Asking).” She was also the winner of two ACM Awards in 2020 following the debut album.
