The Boulet Brothers’ Halloween House Party EP was previewed by lead single “All Hallows Eve”, a Motown-esque ode to Halloween that features Dracmorda Boulet expressing her affection for the titular night: “the terror is calling / the chaos is coming / born for the fright, darling I wish every night could be like All Hallows Eve”. Additional EP highlights include the eerie psychobilly romp “Nosferatu Beach Party”, the surfy “Wipeout”-inspired Chuck Berry cover “Trick Or Treat”, and brooding EP closer “The Vampire Song”, which tells the terrifying story of the narrator’s fateful encounter with a vampire.
The EP release comes on the heels of the October 1st premiere of the sixth season of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, the horror icons’ Emmy-nominated reality competition show on AMC+/Shudder. The new season, dubbed “Season 666”, has been spotlighted in Variety, Entertainment Weekly, Fangoria, Pride, Bloody Disgusting, The Advocate, and more.
Speaking on the new EP, Dracmorda and Swanthula noted: “we are both obsessed with classic vintage Halloween decorations, sets, costumes, parties, music, etc., and this EP is our love letter to all that gory goodness.”
