New York, NY -- Congratulations to The Bros. Landreth, who picked up their first JUNO Award on Saturday night (3/14) in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The band released its debut 'Let It Lie' on January 27 and was thrilled to receive the trophy for that album in the "Roots & Traditional Album of the Year" category.
Captivating audiences with their "bluesy instrumentation" (Pollstar) and compelling songwriting, The Bros. Landreth continues to build on the success of 'Let It Lie' with a 35+ date tour and 9 SXSW showcases. Their soulful performances are highly recommended by coveted spots on the Associated Press and Rolling Stone's "artists to watch" at this year's festival.
Inspired by artists including Ry Cooder, Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers and The Band, The Bros. Landreth was hailed as "the best Southern-style blues" to come out of AmericanaFest 2014 and called "a mix of Americana blues punctuated with badass-in-a-lovely-way harmonies" (Relix).
