New Album Echoes Of The Street Out October 10th
Album Release Show October 7th At NYC’s Sony Hall – Tickets Available Now
September 26, 2025 – Today, America’s premier doo wop group The Doo Wop Project releases their new single, a reimagining of Daft Punk’s Grammy-winning dance anthem “Get Lucky” off their upcoming full-length album, Echoes of the Street, on October 10th. Listen to “Get Lucky” HERE. Pre-order/Pre-save Echoes of the Street HERE.
On “Get Lucky,” the quintet transforms the global hit into a velvet-smooth harmony showcase. Stripping the song down to its melodic core, they infuse stacked vocals, rich falsettos, and rhythmic doo wop phrasing that reframe the track’s futuristic disco groove as a timeless street-corner ballad. The single follows their recent release of a soaring, harmony-rich rendition of “Blue Moon.”
Echoes of the Street marks the group’s fifth full-length release and pays homage to the roots of doo wop while reimagining modern classics for a new era.. Produced by Sonny Paladino for Joy Machine Records, the quintet recorded 12 tracks for Echoes of the Street, spanning R&B classics, pop smashes, and musical theater favorites. This eclectic repertoire speaks to the group’s versatility and dynamic approach. On the album, the vocalists, Broadway veterans Charl Brown, Dwayne Cooper, John Dias, Russell Fischer & Dominic Nolfi, have quietly distinguished The Doo Wop Project as the rare quintet equally comfortable covering everything from “My Girl” by The Temptations to “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift.
Inspired by the musical energy of cities historically tied to doo wop—New York, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Newark, and Philadelphia—Echoes of the Street serves as both a celebration of the genre’s past and a harbinger of its future. The album reflects the group’s mission to keep doo wop alive by reintroducing its timeless style to audiences of all ages.
To celebrate the release, The Doo Wop Project will headline a special album release show at Sony Hall in New York City on October 7th, featuring an evening filled with classics and debut performances from the new record. Throughout the rest of 2025, they will entertain audiences on the road with a brand new 90-minute show—also named Echoes of The Street—across North America this month followed by dates in October and beyond.
