The Elf On The Shelf® Santaverse™ Expands With New Middle Grade Novel – The Rise Of Nicholas The Noble – Coming Sept. 16th

On September 16th, The Lumistella Company – the company behind The Elf on the Shelf^® Santaverse™, the official source for the stories of the enchanted world of Santa Claus – will release an all-new middle grade chapter book, The Rise of Nicholas the Noble via HarperPop, a division of HarperCollins Children’s Books. Today (7.1), in celebration of Christmas in July, the book is available to preorder wherever books are sold.

The Rise of Nicholas the Noble takes middle grade readers (ages 8-12) on an epic adventure of belief and bravery that discovers the untold origin of Santa Claus. Written by Chanda A. Bell, co-creator of The Elf on the Shelf, this book expands the Santaverse and introduces young readers to a world of destiny, courage and magic.

Before there was The Elf on the Shelf, there was a young boy named Nicholas. Shipwrecked in the Arctic tundra alongside his loyal dog Barry, they stumbled upon the enchanted and mysterious world of One True North—home to gnomes, fairies and, of course, magical elves. Nicholas discovers that these special creatures protect a powerful relic known as the Lumistella Stone, a shard of the Christmas star that fell to earth thousands of years ago. To those who believe, the stone holds the power to spread goodwill and love throughout the universe. Its strength, however, can be extinguished. Gangleri, a powerful force driven by greed and hate, seeks to snatch the Lumistella Stone for his own sinister ambitions. Now caught in the crosshairs of an ancient prophecy, Nicholas and his new fellowship must battle Gangleri and his army. Can a little boy find the courage to become the noble hero that One True North—and the rest of the universe—so desperately needs? Only if he chooses to believe.
