The Factory Teams Up With Local Charities To Give Back To The St. Louis Community

The Factory at The District, St. Louis’ “Best New Venue” (Riverfront Times), gives more to its community than exciting shows, it also gives back to its community through generous charitable efforts. In March, The Factory teamed up with Tito’s Handmade Vodka to raise funds and awareness for local charities. Their program is supporting the Angel Band Project, a nonprofit that uses the power of music to provide healing, raise awareness and promote positive social change for survivors of sexual violence and intimate partner violence, along with the Midwest Music Foundation as well; which is another local charitable organization that unites and empowers the Kansas City area music community by providing health care assistance, education and career development, events and resources.

"The Factory’s main objective was to be a part of the community and enhance the area for the people of St. Louis," says The Factory's COO Brian Carp. "Being part of the community means giving back to the community. Anyone can build a venue, we want to help build the community around the venue."

For every Tito’s All-American Mule ordered at The Factory in March, Tito’s Handmade Vodka donated $1 to the Angel Band Project resulting in a $2,087 towards life-affirming music therapy & healing for survivors of trauma. This April, Tito’s Handmade Vodka will will donate $1 for every Tito’s All-American Mule purchased, up to $5,000, towards the Midwest Music Foundation to aid in strengthening St. Louis' vibrant music community.

The Factory will continue its philanthropic work in the St. Louis community with a $1-per-drink matching partnership with COCA this coming July. For every Perfect Gin & Tonic drink ordered at The Factory that month, Pickney Bend will donate $1 to COCA. Since the beginning of 2022, The Factory has given back through its Push Up For Peoplecampaign, connecting with a new St. Louis-based charity partner every two months. The campaign invites concertgoers to add suggested donations to their bar tab to contribute to the organization. The Factory donated $5,000 towards humanitarian efforts in Ukraine following a show cancellation from Ukrainian 4-piece progressive metal band JINJER due to the war.
