US Tour Continues Through August, Illustrated Storybook Out Next Week, DVD Documentary Debuts on Netflix June 1
After riding canoes (Grammy-winning 'Can You Canoe?') and hiking forests (Grammy-nominated 'Through the Woods'), Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing experience America on horseback for 'Saddle Up: A Western Adventure Album,' out today (5.13) via Okee Dokee Music. The third and final adventure album follows the family-folk duo on a 30-day journey through five national parks and camping along the Continental Divide. With the help of a diverse collective of musicians, the duo sings about its adventures while encouraging families to get out and get creative.
'Saddle Up,' the DVD documentary of the duo's journey including educational material, music videos and a hint of tomfoolery, premiered in theaters last week and will debut on Netflix June 1. 'Can You Canoe? And Other Adventure Songs,' an illustrated storybook, which includes a CD with songs of all three adventure albums, will be released Tuesday, May 17, through Sterling Publishing. Pre-order here.
The duo's current US tour continues into August and includes a hometown show in Minneapolis on Sat., May 21. The duo produces fun, engaging and interactive family-friendly shows that you won't want to miss. For more on The Okee Dokee Brothers, please visit okeedokee.org.
