LOS ANGELES, CA – The Nacelle Company, the studio behind Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us, The Movies That Made Us, A Toy Store Near You and Behind The Attraction for Disney+ announce that they’ve reached an exclusive long-term agreement with Seven Towns to license Sectaurs, the insect-evolved humanoid action figure line by Coleco that took the 1980s by storm. The Nacelle Company plans to revive Sectaurs with a new line of action figures and consumer products alongside a new animated series that is currently in development.

This announcement comes on the heels of The Nacelle Company’s recent acquisitions of iconic IPs including Robo Force, The Great Garloo, Power Lords, Big Loo, and the legendary Marx Toys brand. The first wave of the Robo Force action figure line is now available to pre-order on NacelleStore.com. Toys, collectibles and other consumer products for most Nacelle-owned brands are also available on NacelleStore.com.

The story takes place on the distant planet of Symbion, where a genetic experiment fails and terrifying, unstoppable changes begin to take place! The ruler of the peaceful Shining Realm of Prosperon, Prince Dargon and his allies are in conflict with Empress Devora, ruler of the Dark Domain of Synax. Devora and her henchmen are vying to possess the Hyves fortress, an ancient civilization that holds the key to everlasting power. Each character was tele-bonded with intelligent, non-anthropomorphic creatures Every character is telepathically bonded (telebonded) in combat, as they join with their insect companions in the ultimate battle for survival.

“Distant planets, mutant humanoid insects and an Evil Empress? Where do I sign up?! That all said, we’re incredibly excited to introduce Sectaurs to a new generation of fans while honoring the legacy of the original,” said Nacelle Company CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss.

Sectaurs is such an iconic IP and really has held a place not only in the hearts of the original creators Maureen Trotto, Tim Clarke & Larry Mass but with fans around the world.
