Top Artists Drive Excitement for GRAMMY Music Education Coalition’s Mission

A host of pop, R&B, country, hard rock, hip-hop, indie, and classical artists are lending their influence to help the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition spread its mission of public school music education for all. To date, the Coalition’s Artist Ambassador program has amassed over a dozen participants ranging from pop/R&B artist Rita Ora, Broadway veteran Kristin Chenoweth, Grammy winner Stephen Marley, Latin star Luis Fonsi, country newcomer Caroline Jones, classical pianist Lang Lang, Guns N’ Roses’ Matt Sorum, saxophonist Mindi Abair, songwriter Regina Spektor, Fitz and the Tantrums’ Noelle Scaggs, and Philadelphia rock band War on Drugs.

These and a number of other top stars most recently used their social media presence to promote Music In Our Schools Month in March. And their posts saw a large wave of enthusiasm. Hundreds of thousands saw the posts, with many commenting, posting, sharing, or sending direct messages about the Coalition’s positive social impact.
