To kick it off, he plays his ‘04 hit “No Way,” followed by a mashup of the old and new: “Get Up” (2022) and “Victory” (2006). Tribbett gets into a moving performance of one of his classic’s, “He Turned It” (2003). He closes out with his 2022 gospel radio mega-hit “Be Alright,” an interpolation of Kendrick Lamar’s anthemic 2015 track, from his latest studio album All Things New.
Tye Tribbett is currently on his national tour in support of his two latest projects, All Things New and and All Things New: Live In Orlando. The tour is the culmination of a milestone-marking year for the Gospel legend and icon. Earlier this year, it was announced that Tribbett earned two nominations for the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards in the following categories: Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song. This marked his twelfth career nomination.
