“Reliever captures what makes William Prince such a beautiful presence...a classic country troubadour.” – NPR Music
Today, following a national U.S. television debut on CBS Saturday, William Prince – who Paste Mag describes as the next “king of Canadian Country Music” – releases his sophomore album Reliever (out on Glassnote Records). Produced by Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Brandi Carlile) and Scott Nolan (who produced Prince’s Juno Award-winning debut Earthly Days), the new LP is a musical representation of Prince’s honest confessions, reflections, and a journey marked by healing and love. NPR Music describes the album as “what makes William Prince such a beautiful presence… a classic country troubadour.”
Recently, William Prince appeared on CBS Saturday Morning, marking the rising artist’s U.S. television debut. Performing selections off the new album, Prince delivers a truly heartfelt performance that radiates emotion. Watch his passionate performance of “The Spark”: https://youtu.be/QWiNLNqUH7M

Says William about the album: “Reliever is a series of pieces for healing. Alleviation. As the definition states, something that allows for relief from pain, discomfort or distress...Reliever takes aim at the moments where we as human beings feel we aren’t enough.” Prince says, “Pain doesn’t have to define us. Thankfully there are many things that can combat it.”
