WIRE Festival Announces 2025 Lineup, 50 Hours Of Nonstop Music

May 16-17-18 2025WIRE Festival proudly returns to Knockdown Center for its fourth edition. Building on the core principles set out from its inaugural edition, WIRE Festival continues to highlight the very best of the techno/house underground, representing both international leaders and some of NY's most exciting voices with an emphasis on community-building and vital, irrepressible music at its most cutting edge. This year, however, sees the festival launch into its most ambitious form to date, with 50 hours of nonstop music across four stages. From 8pm Friday until 10pm Sunday, WIRE's programming will be run uninterrupted, delivering a world class experience beyond anything else in New York today.

As with previous years, the indoor stages will be split between Stage 1, in the Main Hall, with both international and local talent and Stage 2 dedicated to crew takeovers. For this edition, Berlin's Pornceptual and Amsterdam's Spielraum are handed the keys to the coveted second stage, on Friday and Saturday night respectively. Both collectives are raising the bar for modern queer clubbing in their home cities, with consistently exceptional lineups and visionary approaches to worldbuilding.

The collaborative spirit extends to the Ruins as well: on Saturday, iconic WHOLE Festival takes over the outdoor stage for a full day of programming. In addition to two open-air daytime sessions on Saturday and Sunday, the all-night Ambient Stage will once again return, offering an opportunity for some of the festival's favorite artists to stretch out into fresh sonic territory. And, of course, WIRE will host incisive and thoughtful panel discussions, in collaboration by RA, that tackle some of the most pressing issues in electronic music today.

WIRE has consistently foreground striking lighting installations, commissioning original works from some of the most inventive lighting artists in the field. A to-be-announced lighting collective will craft a bespoke work for the festival grounds.

Finally, Friday evening also features an industry meet-up directly following the final panel discussion. Offering an opportunity for artists, promoters and agents to mingle, this further develops WIRE's staunch ethos of community building and mutual empowerment.

The now-sold-out Weekend Pass holders will have access to the entire program, start-to-finish. Four individual tickets are now on sale for standalone day/night programming. These are:
