Zac Brown Band, Jimmy Buffett Win Performance of the Year at CMT Awards Band Gives Rousing Performance of Latest Smash "Knee Deep"

 
Last night, Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett took home CMT's "Performance of the Year" honors for their collaboration on Buffett's classic hit "Margaritaville," performed for a March episode of "CMT Crossroads." The band warmly thanked Buffett and their fans for "accepting who we are, we love you all."

Zac Brown Band, who garnered nominations for two other CMT trophies, also collaborated with Buffett on their latest fast-rising hit "Knee Deep," from the critically acclaimed #1 album 'You Get What You Give' (Atlantic/Southern Ground). The band gave a lively performance of the track at last night's ceremony, standing knee deep themselves in a tropical set, complete with waves, sailboats, and seaside wildlife.
