On Saturday, June 15, Zac Brown's Southern Ground and The Senoia Downtown Development Authority will co-sponsor the first annual Southern Ground Senoia Social – a free block party in Downtown Senoia, home of Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Social Club. The event will feature live music, food and fun, and will benefit Camp Southern Ground.
Southern Ground Senoia Social kicks off on Main Street in Downtown Senoia, at 1pm ET. The street will close to traffic and live performances start at 1:30pm ET. Artists performing at the event include John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles & The Fellowship, Seven Handle Circus, Mama's Love, Best Brothers Band, Cottonwood Arthur, and more.
Food concessions will be available from local vendors as well as from Cookie – Zac Brown Band's 18-wheel mobile kitchen under the helm of Southern Ground Executive Chef Rusty Hamlin.
In addition to live music and local food, families are welcome to browse all the businesses on Main Street and visit the Kid Zone that will feature hands-on activities for children of all ages. Amusement rides and inflatable jumpy houses plus many kid-friendly activities including face painting, sand art and bedazzling hair dos are in store for the day’s festivities.
Southern Ground Senoia Social will benefit Camp Southern Ground, the passion project of GRAMMY Award-winning musician Zac Brown. It's a camp that will integrate kids with different backgrounds and diverse abilities, giving them an opportunity to learn and grow through customized programs provided in a positive, healthy and organic environment.
