John Kang, President and CEO of Earth Therapeutics, traded a legal career for his passion to create a brand that mattered. A Columbia University and Columbia Law School graduate, he pioneered wellness-forward products with ingredient-driven formulations—launching the iconic Tea Tree Oil Foot Repair Balm, still a best-seller today. For over 30 years, Kang has led Earth Therapeutics as an eco-friendly, family-owned/operated company bringing affordable self-care to millions nationwide.

Julia Kang-Reeves is the CMO of Earth Therapeutics. A UChicago grad and Columbia GSAS alum with a background in Classics, she now brings a timeless perspective to the fast-changing world of social media and beauty marketing. At Earth Therapeutics, she leads creative strategy and innovation, helping the 30+-year-old family brand connect with new generations of self-care enthusiasts.
