Capitol CMG's Jamie MacDonald has quickly become one of the top new Christian artists of 2026, riding a breakout run following her debut album, Jamie MacDonald, released January 23. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Luminate Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart and No. 3 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart — setting the record for the largest debut album streaming launch by a female artist in Christian music history, and the biggest in the label's history.

The album has produced three consecutive No. 1 singles: "Desperate," which set a record for most stations spinning on impact date in Christian radio history, and "Ain't No Way." In between, "Left It In The River" spent 12 consecutive weeks at No. 1 across Billboard and Mediabase Christian AC charts and charted on Spotify's Viral US 50 — a run so strong it inspired a companion Left It In The River [Reimagined] EP, released July 30.

With more than 295 million global streams, MacDonald was named a 2026 Artist To Watch by Spotify and Amazon Music, won a K-LOVE Fan Award for Song of the Year, earned four 2026 GMA Dove Award nominations including New Artist of the Year, and made her national TV debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show in April.

After a sold-out February headline run on her Left It In The River Tour, MacDonald kicks off the tour's fall leg on October 20. She's also joining Phil Wickham's Songs Of The Saints Tour on 16 arena shows this fall.
