John Crist is one of comedy’s most distinctive voices, combining sharp wit, tactfully unhinged stand-up and viral sketches to connect with audiences both online and onstage. Touring theaters across the United States for a decade, Crist has amassed more than 2 billion video views and a social media following of more than 10 million. Known for his razor-sharp observations and relatable humor that pushes boundaries without crossing the line, the Georgia native has built a devoted fanbase through his ability to turn everyday absurdities into comedy.

Crist launched his national John Crist Live Tour in January 2026, including a sold-out show at Nashville’s Opry House. With 38 additional fall dates announced, he’ll continue bringing his signature stand-up to audiences nationwide in 2027.

His John Crist: Emotional Support comedy special has surpassed 4.3 million views on YouTube alone, with clips reaching millions more across social platforms. Filmed just six miles from his childhood home in Lilburn, Georgia, the special sees the viral comedian diving into the ever-changing dynamics of growing up Christian in the 90s, navigating family group texts, mediating fights on the neighborhood Facebook page and more.

Beyond stand-up, Crist has made appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Kelly Clarkson Show, Good Morning America, SHERRI, ESPN’s SEC Network and College GameDay, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, Barstool Sports and more. He also served as an on-the-street reporter for ABC’s Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, which became ABC’s highest-rated July 4 primetime performance in 26 years.

Crist also hosts Net Positive with John Crist, a pop-culture-meets-comedy podcast filmed in Nashville that consistently ranks among Apple’s Top 75 comedy podcasts. It has featured a variety of guests including Matt Rife, Sadie Robertson Huff, Dave Ramsey, Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Tomlin, Tim Tebow and more. His church-set mockumentary series Springfield First has generated 50 million views across platforms with its playful take on church culture.
