FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8 (NEW YORK, NY) - Today, Mercury Studios and Fathom released iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli’s concert film, Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration in theaters across the US. The film chronicles Bocelli’s three-day, star-studded July concert event in Italy honoring his 30th anniversary in music. Fathom will also release the film in over 1,000 theaters across the globe from the UK to Latin America, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Mexico and more, starting today.

Bocelli recently appeared on NBC’s TODAY ShowLive with Kelly and MarkThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Nightline, and also discussed the film with Associated Press - you can read his interview HERE. He is also set to sit down with Jennifer Hudson on The Jennifer Hudson Show later today.

Journey to the Teatro del Silenzio (Theater of Silence) in Lajatico, a breathtaking natural amphitheater in Tuscany, as Andrea Bocelli returns to his hometown to mark his 30th anniversary with a three-day concert event attended by more than 30,000 guests from around the world. The homecoming not only honors Bocelli’s illustrious career, but it holds profound significance for him - Teatro del Silenzio is the very place where his love of music first began and where he holds annual concerts paying homage to his Italian roots.

The once-in-a-lifetime concert showcases Bocelli’s beloved and genre-spanning repertoire, including a brand new rendition of Perfect Symphony, one of his most-watched duets with Ed Sheeran, which has garnered over half a billion views online. Bocelli recently released Duets via Decca Records / Sugar Music, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Classical Albums chart and Classical Crossover Albums chart, marking his 22nd and 16th leaders on the lists, respectively, extending his record for the most No. 1s in each chart’s history. The 32-track album, which also debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart, features a variety of Bocelli’s most beloved collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion, and Luciano Pavarotti, among others, as well as newly recorded tracks with Shania Twain, Chris Stapleton, Karol G, and more. 

His 30th anniversary celebration is set to continue with his annual Winter Tour. The December tour includes ten show dates in major cities across the nation, including San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, and Miami, as well as a return to the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City for two performances.
