In the vein of Studio 54's legendary parties and 80s club culture, "beloved indie pop guru" (PAPER) Ariana and the Rose will bring her Brooklyn 'light + space' party to Manhattan and Los Angeles this October and November.

This staple of contemporary NYC nightlife--the glitter-coated lovechild of a classic 80s disco party, a pop show, an immersive theater production, and an artrave from Mars--was conceived as an underground party in East London and came stateside for a sold-out debut performance at Brooklyn nightlife hub House of Yes last November. Quickly followed by a triumphant three-night residency that also sold-out, the party staked its claim as a highlight of the NYC party circuit.

Now, the "synthpop purveyor" (Billboard) brings her celebrated brand of galactic Bushwick nightlife to PUBLIC Hotel in Manhattan just in time for Halloween. Coinciding with The Knocks' monthly Public Arts residency, this iteration of 'light + space' promises a night of tricks, treats, glitter bombs, and celestial creatures.

The Los Angeles 'light + space' will take place on November 8th at Catch One as a part of Live Nation's "Ones to Watch" performance series. Both installments of the "neon-lit, glittery and glam" (PopCrush) fête will feature what partygoers have come to recognize 'light + space' parties for: an immersive and inclusive space, a glitter bar, a slew of interactive space creatures, and an ethereal performance by Ariana and the Rose herself.

In the past, 'light + space' has featured special guest performances and hosted such nightlife luminaries as Phi Phi O'Hara (RuPaul's Drag Race), Tommie Sunshine, Bright Light Bright Light, and New York City legend Amanda Lepore.

To date, Ariana and the Rose has accrued 4.2 million streams across Spotify and Apple Music, with 3 million views on Youtube. The 'light + space' parties have become a word-of-mouth sensation, with the last party reaching over 1.2 million people on Instagram and generating 6K individual pieces of content from the PRIDE show alone. With her star ever on the rise, this intimate and hedonistic peek into the astral mind of the multi-faceted pop sensation is not one to miss, no matter what coast you're on.
