Ariana and the Rose Will Land Her Galactic “light + space” Party In Bushwick July 18
Will Bring the Latest Installment of Her Immersive Nightlife Celebration to 3 Dollar BillOver the past two years, "technicolored synthpop powerhouse" (Nylon) Ariana and the Rose has made herself a NYC nightlife maven, bringing her galactic immersive music party "light + space" to venues across the city including a residency at House of Yes, and one-night engagements at Public Arts and Club Cumming. And on July 18th, she will land her spaceship at Brooklyn’s queer hotspot 3 Dollar Bill (260 Meserole Street) for her next sure-to-be-legendary party.
She is partnering with the Phluid Project for the July engagement, further reinforcing the “light + space” message of inclusivity, love, and self-expression. “light + space” is an avant-garde, cosmic celebration, that also calls to mind the club culture of the 80s and 90s. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their "celestial finest" while partaking in "light + space" mainstay activations like a glitter makeup bar (powered by lemonhead.la), interactive otherworldly characters, an aura photo booth experience, and a variety of special guests including Scarlet Envy (from season 11 of RuPaul's Drag Race) who will MC and perform, guest appearances by Amanda Lepore, Spencer Ludwig, Zero Waste Daniel, and CT Hedden, as well as a DJ set by Mazurbate! There will also be a 1-hour open bar care of Brockman's and Sailor Jerry.
The night will build to a stunning climax when Ariana will take the stage for a full performance of her “vibrant, club-ready” (Consequence of Sound) bops, including her recent PRIDE anthem “True Love” (which she partnered with LOGO to premiere), her provocative kiss-off jam “You Were Never My Boyfriend”, and her critically acclaimed disco-tinged single “Night Owl” (“just right to amp you up to hit the town” – Time).
The July 18th event also acts as a prelude to the release of the first installment of her upcoming two-part ‘Constellations’ EP (out July 26th, with part two set for a 2020 release).
