Bob Dylan And His Band To Play Opening Night At The Capitol Theater Sept. 4

LEGENDARY PORT CHESTER, NY, VENUE BREATHES NEW LIFE FOLLOWING TRANSFORMATIVE RENOVATIONS
 
Bob Dylan and his band will play the first concert at the newly reopened Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, on Sept 4. "It's a great gift for the Capitol Theatre and fans of live music," says music entrepreneur Peter Shapiro (Brooklyn Bowl, Wetlands, U23D, Relix), who's helming the theatre's revival. "It's going to give the theatre a lot of positive momentum from the beginning, and I think that is something that will benefit all of the shows that come after September 4th." 

Tickets for Bob Dylan and his band will go on sale Friday, August 17th at 10AM. Tickets will be available at ticketfly.com or 877-4-FLY-TIX (435-9849). Admission to the show is 18+. 

Designed by celebrated architect Thomas Lamb in 1926 and listed in The National Register of Historic Places, The Capitol Theatre is located approximately 30 miles from NYC, conveniently accessible by I-95 and only one block from the Port Chester Metro North train station.
