Brittney Spencer to Headline BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival as part of The Highwomen Tonight (9.3)

Will perform alongside Brandi Carlile, Maren Morris and Natalie Hemby, filling in for Amanda Shires

 

Tonight (9.3), Brittney Spencer will take the stage with female supergroup The Highwomen as one of the headliners for the BottleRock Napa Valley Music Festival, filling in last-minute for founding group member Amanda Shires. Spencer was recently named one of “5 Black Artists Rewriting Country Music” by The Recording Academy. She made her debut on the iconic Ryman Auditorium stage at the ACM Honors last week with a slowed-down, intimate performance of “Independence Day,” which honored songwriter Gretchen Peters. Named a 2021 Spotify Hot Country Artist to WatchPandora 2021 Artist to Watch and CMT Next Women of Country, Spencer will open for Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit this Fall. The two recently shared the stage to perform The Stones’ classic, “Gimme Shelter.”  The Baltimore native will also open for Brett Eldredge’s Good Day Tour through the end of the year.
