As the year comes to a close, Ripe will ring in 2027 with a special NYE Celebration, continuing Brooklyn Bowl’s tradition of making New Year’s Eve a major part of its annual programming. Brooklyn Bowl also continues to keep the music of the Grateful Dead alive with Dead Bowl, a series celebrating the band’s enduring legacy through performances from local talent including Bushwick’s Dead, Shakedown Citi, and Stella Blue’s Band, alongside nationally touring acts such as Jerry’s Middle Finger and more.
Families can also experience live music together through The Rock and Roll Playhouse, the largest national family-friendly live concert series in the U.S. Founded at Brooklyn Bowl in 2014, the series brings the music of iconic artists to a new generation through interactive concerts featuring movement, games, storytelling, and activities like freeze dance, limbo lines, and dancing under the parachute. Its programming spans generations, with family-friendly shows celebrating artists including Taylor Swift, The Beatles, Prince, Harry Styles, Aretha Franklin, Bruce Springsteen, Chappell Roan, Fleetwood Mac, Beyoncé, Talking Heads, Phish, David Bowie, and more. Families can also hit the lanes during Brooklyn Bowl's weekly Family Bowl, offered Saturday and Sunday with no cover. Please refer to brooklynbowl.com for the most up-to-date Family Bowl hours.
The original Brooklyn Bowl has introduced a groundbreaking integration of premier music, expansive bowling, locally crafted beers, and an exquisite dining menu from the acclaimed Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group. Located in the beautiful, 19th-century Hecla Iron Works building, the venue -- aka "rock and roll heaven" (Village Voice) -- boasts a sound system and amenities that "no other local rock club can offer" (The New York Times). As the holiday season approaches, Brooklyn Bowl is also the perfect destination for holiday parties big and small, offering customizable celebrations ranging from intimate gatherings on the lanes to full-venue takeovers, complete with Blue Ribbon food, drinks, bowling, and live entertainment.

About Brooklyn Bowl:
Brooklyn Bowl is the ultimate night out, with its groundbreaking integration of premiere music, 16 lanes of bowling, a bar featuring locally crafted beers, and food by the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant group. Located in the beautiful, 19th-century Hecla Iron Works building, the venue -- aka "rock and roll heaven" (Village Voice) -- boasts a sound system and amenities that "no other local rock club can offer" (The New York Times). Wearing its homegrown values on its sleeve, Brooklyn Bowl is as committed to locally made products -- serving award-winning beer from the adjacent Brooklyn Brewery -- as it is to environmental sustainability -- it's the first L.E.E.D.-certified bowling alley in the world and serves paper straws. And the food? "Epic," says Eater. In other words, Brooklyn Bowl's unprecedented combination of top-flight music, bowling, beer and food is "like nailing a spare on a four-ten split" (The New Yorker).
