And it reflects The Black Keys’ unbroken roots in the state’s blues and rock history. The title also captures the album’s troupe-like feel of camaraderie and adventure. No matter where they come from, Beck, Gallagher, and the Memphis rappers are now Ohio Players. “I can’t wait—I really can’t wait,” Auerbach says of The Black Keys’ tour plans for Ohio Players. “I haven’t been this excited about a record in a long time. I haven’t worked this hard on one either."

She has released 23 albums traversing folk, punk, hip-hop, soul and electronic genres and addressing a range of autobiographical, political and social issues. Her latest music releases include Unprecedented Sh!t (2024) and the 30th anniversary edition of her seminal album Not A Pretty Girl (2025). As an iconic songwriter and social activist, she has been the inspiration for artists and entrepreneurs for over two decades. She has been featured on the covers of SPIN, Ms., Relix, High Times and many others for her music and activism.

Two-time Grammy winning bassist Oteil Burbridge has been touring and recording for over three decades. He was a founding member of the early 90s southern jazz-fusion group Col. That led him to join the iconic southern rock group The Allman Brothers Band as their final bass player during their latter day lineup in the 1990s and into the 2000s. In 2012, Oteil received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for his 15 year contribution to The Allman Brothers Band as the longest running bassist in the band’s history. “Oteil & Friends” , which features a rotating cast of all-star musicians (including Melvin Seals, John Kadlecik, T om Guarana, Jeff Chimenti, John Morgan Kimock, Jennifer Hartswick, Jason Crosby, Natalie Cressman, Lamar Williams Jr., and more) began touring in 2017, and continue to play shows and festivals today.

We Dance. We Steal Things. The newer songs, which are unabashedly pop, saw Mraz reuniting with numerous collaborators, including L.A. band Raining Jane and producer Martin Terefe. The songs grapple with the emotions and experiences that come with being in your mid-life, a time that is often ignored by pop songwriters. Its optimistic, inspiring sensibility reflects the musician’s overall approach.

Their message feels more relevant than ever, and their influence can be heard in bands ranging from Rage Against the Machine and Nirvana to LCD Soundsystem and Santigold. Designed by celebrated architect Thomas Lamb in 1926 and listed in The National Register of Historic Places, The Capitol Theatre is located 30 miles from NYC. The 2,000-capacity theater, known as “the original rock palace,” showcased legends such as Traffic, The Grateful Dead, Black Sabbath, Chuck Berry, David Bowie, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, and The Rolling Stones.
