Justin Moore + Priscilla Block Earn People’s Choice Country Award Nomination
“You, Me, and Whiskey” Nominated for The Collaboration Song of 2023Block Earns New Artist Nomination
Congratulations to The Valory Music Co. hitmaker Justin Moore and Universal Music Group’s Priscilla Block, who have earned a nomination for the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards for The Collaboration Song of 2023 with “You, Me, and Whiskey.” The song recently topped the Country radio charts, making it Moore’s 12th No. 1 single and Block’s first. Block is also nominated for The New Artist of 2023.
Featured on Moore’s latest studio album, Stray Dog (5.5 via The Valory Music Co.), the “anthemic” (Billboard), RIAA-certified GOLD track is one of Moore’s fastest-climbing and best-consuming songs to date with roughly 85 Million streams and climbing. It is also the first chart-topping duet of the Arkansas native’s career.
The People’s Choice Country Awards will air live on Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT simultaneously on NBC and Peacock from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Fan voting begins today (8.16) and runs through Friday, Aug. 25, online at votepcca.com. In an unusual twist, votes cast on Turbo Tuesday, Aug. 22 will count twice.
