Lee Ann Womack Returns to AmericanaFest with Star-Studded Kickoff Party Sept. 20 and Cannery Ballroom Headlining Show Sept. 23

After a stunningly "shimmering" (NPR) performance at last year's AmericanaFest, Lee Ann Womack will return for two special shows this year. On September 20, she'll play the AmericanaFest Eastside Kickoff Party, a rare and intimate show at the Basement East billed as "Lee Ann Womack's All Star Band," where she'll be joined by Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, and more surprise guests. Playing alongside Womack and friends is a group of first-call supporting musicians including bassist Glenn Worf (Mark Knopfler), guitarists Duke Levine (J Geils Band) and Jedd Hughes (Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell), fiddle player Tim Crouch (Alan Jackson), steel guitarist Paul Franklin (Barbara Streisand, Peter Frampton), and drummer Jerry Roe (Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell). On Friday, September 23, Womack will play a headlining show at the Cannery Ballroom.
