Lose Yourself In Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions Of Eminem, 10.28

Eminem is receiving a friendly transformation from award-winning lullaby series Rockabye Baby with the release of Lullaby Renditions of Eminem on October 28th.  Eminem hits like “Love The Way You Lie,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and “Lose Yourself” have all been reworked for newborns.

Eminem’s heavy beats, eccentric rhymes, and staccato flow are traded for a soothing pallet of sounds that includes xylophones, marimbas, wood blocks, and bells.  The Rockabye Baby bear is featured on the CD cover art donning the rapper's iconic uniform of an oversized hoodie and beanie.  The album's liner notes include Eminem-themed children's games and an aptly named baby food recipe – The Way I Yam.

Making rock music baby-friendly and kids' music adult-friendly, Rockabye Baby has given its lullaby treatment to the work of more than 60 artists including U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Maroon 5 and Jay Z. The series has sold over 1.6 million albums, has been praised by outlets including People, Spin and NME, and counts among its avowed fans Jimmy Fallon, Fergie, Elton John, Victoria Beckham and Ellen DeGeneres, who says the series “puts [kids] to sleep with cool music that you'll want to hear as well.”
