Lyte Powers Washington D.C. Concerts & Festivals Including Rescheduled Broccoli City (May 2022)

The Anthem, 9:30 Club, DC9, and Merriweather Post Pavilion among local venues utilizing Lyte to Confront Secondary Market & Make Ticketing Experience Simple For Fans

Lyte - the reservations technology platform that is transforming e-commerce for live events - has worked with a host of world class venues and music festivals, implementing its revolutionary reservation service to reinvigorate the live events community during the pandemic. Those venues and events include a number in Washington, D.C., where Lyte is helping make the return to live music simple for fans and promoters.

One of the city’s premier festivals Broccoli City -- which just announced that it is being rescheduled for May of 2022 -- as well as venues including The Anthem, 9:30 Club, DC9 and Merriweather Post Pavilion, have partnered with Lyte for a number of events in 2021 and 2022

For Broccoli City Festival, which will now take place in May 2022, Lyte is powering ticket returns as well as reservations for the rescheduled date. Says Broccoli City: “We look forward to working with the City of Washington, D.C. to bring our community together for a festival of music, food and culture in a safe and creative environment next spring. Working with Lyte is also helping to make ticketing as easy as possible for our fans.”

Donna Westmoreland, COO of I.M.P.: “In what has been a trying past several months, we are so thrilled that live music has returned in such a big way. With fans as our first priority, having a partner in Lyte has been reassuring - knowing that our fans have a simple ticketing experience especially if they are looking for tickets to sold out shows, or need to return them.”

Lyte has created an alternate universe for ticketing that is becoming more and more irresistible to festivals, concerts and promoters. Fans are able to request tickets for sold-out events by completing a free and flexible reservation. As tickets are made available, they are offered to those fans on the waitlist. Crucially, fans can also return or exchange their tickets with the simple click of a button should their plans change; the longtime industry standard of “no refunds” is no more. Lyte’s safe and easy platform guarantees tickets to real fans at fair prices, completely eliminating the need for them to turn to the secondary market.

Lyte’s technology has delivered millions of dollars in savings by enabling fans to reserve, return and exchange tickets through its proprietary risk-free reservations system that top live entertainment brands are also now using to confront the uncertainty created by the pandemic. While many industries faltered or completely shut down last year, Lyte sprinted into the uncertainty, eventually landing their CEO Ant Taylor on Rolling Stone’s Future 25 list, as one of the talented and forward-thinking execs in the field.

Washington D.C. joins many other adopters of Lyte’s technology over the past year. In the return to live events, Lyte is working with some of the nation’s top venues and touring acts, including Middle Tennessee's The Caverns, The Mint Talent Group, Jackson Browne, in addition to a number of 2021 festivals including Life Is Beautiful, Under The Big Sky, Tree Fort, Pitchfork and Riot in Chicago, Newport Folk Festival, Baja Beach Fest, Levitation, Beachlife and more.
