Pitbull And Luke Bryan To Headline Shows At The Marcus Amphitheater During Summerfest 2013
MILWAUKEE (March 28, 2013) – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce the ninth and tenth major shows slated for Summerfest 2013.
International music sensation, Pitbull will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Sunday, June 30. A support act will be announced in the coming weeks. Miami-native, Pitbull, known for his top charting hits and explosive live performances, is a globally successful musician, performer, business entrepreneur, fashion icon and actor whose career sales exceed 5 million albums and 40 million singles worldwide. Pitbull's new album, Global Warming is the highly anticipated follow-up to Planet Pit, which earned critical acclaim and enjoyed massive commercial success with sales of more than 1.7 million albums and 19 million singles.
Additionally, Luke Bryan will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 3 with special guests Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line. Luke Bryan’s cache as a seasoned performer has long been recognized by his growing legion of fans and has recently captured the attention of the music community. His ability to draw great crowds to his concerts became evident earlier this year when it was announced that the first leg of shows on his headline tour, the “Dirt Road Diaries Tour,” had all sold-out!
• Tickets for Pitbull’s June 30 show go on sale Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 am and include Summerfest admission.
• Tickets for Luke Bryan’s July 3 show go on sale Friday, April 5 at 11:00 am and include Summerfest admission.

Summerfest 2013 will take place June 26 - 30 and July 2 - 7, from Noon until Midnight and will be closed Monday, July 1. Following its 1968 debut, Summerfest has evolved into what is now recognized as “The World’s Largest Music Festival” and Milwaukee’s cornerstone summer celebration, bringing the music industry’s hottest stars, emerging talent and local favorites along with approximately 900,000 people from Milwaukee and around the world together each year for an unforgettable live music experience.
