Rush Brings 'Clockwork Angels Tour' To The Marcus Amphitheater During Summerfest 2013

MILWAUKEE (February 19, 2013) – Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce the fourth major show slated for Summerfest 2013. Rush will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Thursday, July 4.

After overwhelming demand following the highly successful 2012 tour, Rush’s Clockwork Angels Tour will return to North America for select dates this summer. Rush's 20th studio album, Clockwork Angels has earned rapturous accolades by fans and press alike since its release in June of last year. 

At the end of 2012, Rush won both the Band of the Year and Album of the Year awards at the Classic Rock Awards in London, UK. This year, to the delight of patient Rush fans worldwide, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame at the momentous ceremony in Los Angeles on April 18.

Tickets for the July 4 show go on sale Friday, February 22 at 11:00 am and include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Summerfest Box Office, Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1.800.745.3000 (live Ticketmaster Agent) or 1.866.448.7849 (“Ticketmaster Express” automated phone line). Patrons may also utilize “ticketfast” at Ticketmaster.com to print barcoded concert tickets from home. Convenience fees may be added to all purchases.

The Rush Pre-sale will run Wednesday, February 20 from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm CST or until pre-sale inventory has been exhausted.

Summerfest 2013 will take place June 26 - 30 and July 2 - 7, from Noon until Midnight and will be closed Monday, July 1.
