Kealia – pronounced kay-e-LEE-a – Watt has one of the most decorated careers in US soccer history. She won a national championship as a junior at the University of North Carolina in 2012, and represented the United States on the under-17, under-20, under-23 and senior national teams as well. She played professionally for the Chicago Red Stars and Houston Dash of the National Women’s Soccer League before retiring in 2023.
Today, Watt is a sideline reporter for the women’s professional soccer league and part owner of Burnley Football Club with her husband, ex-NFL star, JJ Watt. She continues to define herself with the same relentless work ethic and commitment to excellence that made her a standout soccer player. This strength and drive shine through in Watt’s personal life as a mother and entrepreneur, prioritizing her family while managing several professional endeavors.
