Trixie Mattel has epically closed out the summer as only she could! She celebrated her birthday and reached a major career milestone by joining Katya on the cover of Out Magazine’s September/October issue, with a feature that explores their evolution from reality TV icons to globally revered entertainers, podcasters, creators, and entrepreneurs. Trixie also joined Bob the Drag Queen for a live taping of Only Child podcast and brought her immersive Super Disco to Osheaga, Lollapalooza, and Capitol Hill Block Party, where she kept audiences dancing through torrential rain. You may have seen her go viral for asking, “Where is Mitch McConnell?” She released new videos, debuted a 90-minute Daytime Disco DJ set, and reunited with Katya for new episodes of The Bald and the Beautiful and Netflix’s I Like to Watch. Out Magazine, the highest-circulation monthly LGBTQ+ publication, has featured Trixie and Katya as the cover stars of its September/October issue. Previous cover stars include Beyoncé, Janelle Monáe, and the late, great Dolly Parton. Finally, the collab we’ve all been waiting for! Trixie joined Bob the Drag Queen on her podcast, Only Child, for a special episode recorded in front of a live studio audience. Two of the funniest people in drag shared hilarious stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and plenty of quick-witted banter.

DJ Trixie brought Super Disco to some of the summer’s biggest festivals, including Osheaga, Lollapalooza, and Capitol Hill Block Party. With high-energy sets, her out of this world pink look, and nonstop dance-floor anthems, she kept crowds moving all night long, even through torrential downpours. She even found time backstage to snap a photo with fellow festival performer and pop star Zara Larsson.

About Trixie Mattel:

Trixie Mattel is an American singer, actor, drag queen and recognized “Skinny Legend.” Trixie is the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 3 (originally competing on season 7). She is also a Billboard Heatseekers #1 charting recording artist (One Stone, 2018), a wildly successful touring act, and one half of a comic duo with Katya on YouTube (“UNHhhh” & Netflix's "I Like To Watch").

Additional accomplishments include her documentary, “Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts,” self-launched cosmetics company Trixie Cosmetics, her “Skinny Legend” comedy special and a New York Times best-selling book with Katya called “Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood” and also started a podcast with Katya called “The Bald And The Beautiful”.

Over the past few years, Mattel has partnered with Fender, worked with Integrity Toys to release the “Trixie” doll, was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for her “One Night Only” comedy special, and appeared as one of the judges for the hit Paramount+ Queen of the Universe singing competition alongside Michelle Visage, Leona Lewis and Vanessa Williams.
