(LOS ANGELES, CA - April 17, 2025) - Last night, leading global music agency Wasserman Music was named Booking Agency of the Year for the second consecutive year at the 2025 Pollstar Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The prestigious annual awards ceremony recognizes the global live music industry's most outstanding companies, venues, artists, tours, and executives.
Other winners included Wasserman Music VP Kiely Mosiman, who received the 2025 "Rising Star Award" for her work representing clients including Chappell Roan and Cigarettes After Sex, among others, and Chappell Roan with two awards: "New Headliner of the Year" and "Support/Special Guest of the Year" for her opening slot on Olivia Rodrigo's 2024 "GUTS World Tour."
Music industry mental health nonprofit organization Backline, co-founded by Wasserman Music SVP Josh Knight, also won the 2025 "Tour Services Company of the Year" award.
"Four years ago, we set out to build a great company, and to us a great company meant a transparent company that cared about its people as much as its clients," said Wasserman Music President Lee Anderson in his acceptance speech on behalf of the agency.
