Lyte Names Jorgen Bocklage Chief Financial Officer

Lyte -- the reservations technology platform reimagining e-commerce for artists, fans and live events -- names Jorgen Bocklage as Chief Financial Officer, one of the many recent elevations of the company’s executive team. This supercharging of their team comes during a period of tremendous growth, as Lyte continues to offer major solutions to the post-pandemic live event world.

As CFO, Bocklage will work closely with the CEO on fundraising activities and work with the broader executive team on various strategic financial initiatives, as well as directing forecasting, cash management, accounting and leading administrative operations. Additionally, he will expand and develop Lyte’s relationships with the financial community, including investors, lenders and strategic partners.

Bocklage is an experienced start-up CFO, leading fundraising, treasury, FP&A, analytics and operations functions. He has spent a good portion of his career working with startups, most recently as CFO & SVP of Operations at MealPal. Prior to MealPal, he was CFO at Behalf, a fintech small business lender, SVP Finance at password manager Dashlane, founding President at UK fintech 118 118 Money, and held senior operations and finance roles at early fintech Revolution Money, and, following its acquisition, at American Express. He is a CFA charterholder and graduated from Colby College with a degree in Economics.

Jorgen arrives right as Lyte is executing against our full vision for improving outcomes for fans and event producers,” says Ant Taylor, Lyte CEO and Founder. “His financial leadership will make us even more effective allies and partners to the live events industry. The next chapter has begun!

I am delighted to be joining Lyte”, says Jorgen Bocklage. “They have built an amazing product that is gaining increasing momentum, and I look forward to working with Ant and the entire Lyte team to build upon that momentum as we come out of the pandemic.”

Bocklage’s hiring comes on the heels of tremendous growth for Lyte, with recent announcements including their new partnerships with premier festivals like Pitchfork Music Festival, Under the Big Sky, and Life is Beautiful, and their partnership with Jackson Browne to use their transformative Priority Reservation technology, making it easier and safer than ever for fans to get tickets to his upcoming headlining tour. These partnerships further showcase Lyte’s novel solution to ticketing problems and illustrate just how irresistible Lyte’s technology is for fans and artists alike.

About Lyte:

Lyte is a reservations technology platform that has reimagined event ticketing for artists, venues and fans. In an industry where the standard is “no refunds,” and concert-goers have to compete with robots and brokers for the tickets they want, Lyte's mission is to fill every seat with real tickets at fair prices and make the entire experience delightful and simple.

Lyte’s technology has delivered millions of dollars in savings by enabling fans to reserve, return and exchange tickets through its proprietary risk-free reservations system that top live entertainment brands are also now using to confront the uncertainty created by the pandemic. Lyte’s industry-friendly solutions have been utilized by festivals, major tours with the likes of Mumford & Sons and Wilco, and recently featured in Rolling Stone and Billboard.
