April has been a huge month for our queen, Trixie Mattel! She kicked things off by winning one of the most prestigious awards for digital creators, a Webby Award. She took home the People’s Voice Award for Entertainment or Meme, General Creator. Trixie also took Billboard out for donuts and to talk about her busy 2026 DJing at the hottest festivals. While fans eagerly await for her highly anticipated new set, SuperDisco, she shared a sci-fi-inspired makeup tutorial to match the set’s space-inspired aesthetic, along with a new remix. She collaborated with Bonnie McKee, to create an EDM version of "Hella Good" by No Doubt. If you watch the HBO hit series The Comeback, you might have spotted her in a cameo appearance in its fictional version of The Traitors. The Trixie Motel continues to be one of the top places to stay when visiting Palm Springs, with mentions in popular travel publications like Palm Springs Life and Island.com. From award wins to new music, on-screen appearances, and a thriving cosmetics line and hotel, Trixie Mattel is proving that 2026 is very much her year.

Them, OUT, Pride.com: Trixie makes an appearance on The Traitors in The Comeback

Trixie has turned down the offer to be on the popular reality show, the Traitors, four times. However, she did make an appearance in the HBO comedy, The Comeback, in their version of the the Traitors, playing a fictional version of herself.

BroadwayWorld, Trixie Mattel makes an appearance in the Rocky Horror Documentary

The 2025 documentary, Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, goes back and tells the story of how one of the most iconic films of all time came to be. About Trixie Mattel:

Trixie Mattel is an American singer, actor, drag queen and recognized “Skinny Legend.” Trixie is the winner of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 3 (originally competing on season 7). She is also a Billboard Heatseekers #1 charting recording artist (One Stone, 2018), a wildly successful touring act, and one half of a comic duo with Katya on YouTube (“UNHhhh” & Netflix's "I Like To Watch").

Additional accomplishments include her documentary, “Trixie Mattel: Moving Parts,” self-launched cosmetics company Trixie Cosmetics, her “Skinny Legend” comedy special and a New York Times best-selling book with Katya called “Trixie and Katya's Guide to Modern Womanhood” and also started a podcast with Katya called “The Bald And The Beautiful”.

Over the past few years, Mattel has partnered with Fender, worked with Integrity Toys to release the “Trixie” doll, was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for her “One Night Only” comedy special, and appeared as one of the judges for the hit Paramount+ Queen of the Universe singing competition alongside Michelle Visage, Leona Lewis and Vanessa Williams.

She starred in her own Discovery+ reality renovation show "Trixie Motel" and released her double LP ‘The Blonde and Pink Albums’ to acclaim from Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, Vogue, NPR and more, as well as performance slots on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and at Austin City Limits & Stagecoach.
