April 2015

01 April

Amy Speace - The Basement (Nashville)

Gut-wrenching folk imbued with “poetry and honesty” (New York Times) that tackles ill-advised love, the bitter battle for sobriety and self-redemption — all while “channeling the classics” (Billboard) from Stax to Muscle Shoals.

Fairfield Four and McCrary Sisters - Ryman Auditorium (Nashville)

First-call Nashville session aces, The McCrary Sisters — Alfreda, Ann, Deborah and Regina — deliver a soul-stirring gospel, tight knit vocal style that can only be generated by women who’ve sung together their entire lives.

Legendary gospel quartet, The Fairfield Four - Bobbye Sherrell, Joseph Thompson, Larrice Byrd and Levert Allison — continue to celebrate the near century-long tradition that started in Nashville’s Fairfield Baptist Church in 1921.
