Arlie – Baby’s All Right (Brooklyn, NY)


The collagist psych-pop group “brimming with lyrical metaphors and sentimentality, turning an eye to the self-deprecating and superficial generation upon us” (Flaunt) returns to NYC, now headlining this added show following a fall tour. Over several months leading up to debut EP Wait (Atlantic), the four-piece rose from college dorms and house parties to Bonnaroo, shows with Rostam and Cold War Kids and over five million streams.

Ryan Montbleau – Hotel Café (LA, CA)


The singer, songwriter and bandleader presents the final show of his cross-country solo acoustic tour in support of new live album Woodstock Sessions. Touring relentlessly for over 15 years, both with a full band and solo, Montbleau has played with Mavis Staples, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Ani DiFranco, The Wood Brothers and more. His intimate songwriting prowess and dynamic voice channel fellow troubadours Ray LaMontagne, Josh Ritter and Shakey Graves while also playing with the pop sensibilities and storytelling of early John Mayer, Amos Lee and the Avett Brothers.

Tash Sultana – Shrine Expo Hall (LA, CA)


Last year, Tash sold out every date on her first US tour before setting foot in the country. Now the Australian one-person tour-de-force is back for another headlining tour for debut album Flow State (Mom + Pop Music). Tash performs solo and loops every instrument for a compelling performance that has featured on NPR Tiny Desk and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Vera Sola – Rough Trade (Brooklyn, NY)


The “masterful story-teller that exudes an effortless mystique” (The Line of Best Fit) celebrates the release of her debut LP, Shades (Spectraphonic Records), with this free show. On stage, Vera Sola, who has toured with the Milk Carton Kids, fronts a string quintet that brings to life her haunting, Bobbie Gentry-meets-The Cramps gothic folk.

Lucy Wainwright Roche – The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (NYC)


With her bell-tone voice and wry lyrics, Roche continues her tour with her band for new album Little Beast, out now. Roche has earned praise from NPR, the Guardian and the BBC, which calls her “alluring.” She’s toured with Neko Case, Mary Chapin Carpenter and more, and this summer tour includes shows with the Indigo Girls, Dar Williams and half-brother Rufus Wainwright.

Doe Paoro – The Basement (Nashville)


The pop songwriter hits the road on a headlining fall tour to support new album Soft Power (Anti-), which trades her trademark electronic soundscapes for girl-group harmonies and piano-driven pop. With a penetrating voice that can shift from gentle to commanding in an instant, Doe Paoro delivers a performance perfectly suited for her new album’s message of thoughtful defiance and what she calls "pop music with wisdom."

Vitamin String Quartet/ Vitamin String Quartet Performs the Hits of 2018 Vol. 2’/ CMH Label Group


“You’ve never heard pop hits like this before,” declares USA Today, as one of the most streamed contemporary string ensembles continue to erase boundaries between classical, dance, hip-hop and pop. The collective’s latest set reinterprets songs from across the musical spectrum, including the late rapper XXXTENTACION’s “SAD!”; EDM DJ/producer Zedd and country singer Maren Morris’ multi-format chart-topper “The Middle” and BLACKPINK’s international K-pop smash “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du.”

Jacob Collier/ ‘Djesse: Volume 1’/ Hajanga Records/Decca/Geffen


The multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, arranger, producer and two-time GRAMMY winner follows his 2016 debut with a 40-song, four-volume and multi-genre exploration of the mind. The ecstatic and whimsical first volume captures the feeling of limitless possibilities of a New Years Day's dawn with the help of storied Dutch ensemble Metropole Orkest, Voces8, Take 6, Laura Mvula and Moroccan Gnawa musician Hamid El Kasri.

Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays (NYC)


The GRAMMY, Emmy and Tony-winning icon and advocate presents and headlines the eight annual “Home for the Holidays” benefit concert at the Beacon Theatre. This star-studded concert celebrates the 10th anniversary of the True Colors Fund (co-founded by Lauper) with 100% of net proceeds going to programs working to end homelessness among LGBTQ youth. Performers include A$AP Rocky, Bebe Rexha, Amanda Palmer, Natalie Merchant and Regina Spector.

Shad – Moroccan Lounge (LA, CA)


The Polaris-nominated and JUNO-winning MC follows the release of his incisive and uplifting new album, A Short Story About A War (Secret City Records), with a North American tour. Esperanza Spalding – Town Hall (NYC)


Spalding’s string of 12 unique pop-up shows across North America mirror the dozen tracks off her latest project 12 Little Spells (Concord), in which one song “premieres” on social media every day. Spalding’s backed by a full band and will utilize visuals that further explore theatrical staging in a concert and how music interacts with the body.

Henry Jamison – Bowery Ballroom (NYC)


The Burlington, VT musical bard with over 70 million Spotify streams opens for Darlingside and previews new album Gloria Duplex (2/8 via Akira Records). Jamison also has toured across the US and Europe with Caroline Rose and Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker, who described Henry's acoustic folk songwriting as "songs that sing me through mazes of my own sensuality and sadness.”

Phosphorescent

Phosphorescent – Brooklyn Steel (Brooklyn, NY)


Matthew Houck ends a busy 2018 with a headlining North American tour in honor of new album C’est La Vie (Dead Oceans). Houck’s new live presentation matches the earthy and incandescent glow of his new music, which expands upon his troubled and serene indie-folk hailed by Pitchfork for its “beauty and profundity.” Houck has brought Phosphorescent to Jimmy Fallon, headlining tours and dates with Father John Misty and The National and the festival stages of Glastonbury, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.

Blank Range – The Basement East (Nashville)


East Nashville’s “wildly melodic” (Rolling Stone) genre-benders play a hometown show with The Lone Bellow. Former tourmates of Death Cab For Cutie, Margo Price, The Drive-By Truckers, and more, the four-piece previews new album, In Union (2/1), which serves as a natural extension of the band’s live show; the LP was recorded in an old Tennessee farmhouse with minimal gear and even less second-guessing.

Puddles Pity Party & Friends Holiday Jubilee (Atlanta, GA)


The seven-foot “sad clown with the golden voice” – whose performances have taken him around the world and garnered over 120 million views on YouTube – presents his first official holiday show, which also marks his headlining debut at the Fox Theatre. The joyous evening includes the implementation of The Fox’s custom M.P. Möller pipe organ “Mighty Mo,” the world’s second-largest theater organ, and several soon-to-be-announced special guests near and dear to Puddles.

The Kentucky native, praised by the New York Times, FADER, Rolling Stone Country and more, plays with the Opry band as a guest artist for “Opry at the Ryman." Pandora recently named Carmichael one of its Country Artists to Watch in 2019: “Armed with a distinctive baritone voice and fiercely protective of the country tradition of his influences Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, Carmichael can rock with the best of them.”
