Backed by electric bass and percussion, the 24- and 22-year-old Harvard graduates create an eclectic blend of alternative, blues-infused rock filled with infectious grooves and soul.

Raphael Saadiq – El Rey Theatre (LA, CA)


The GRAMMY-winning musician, songwriter, and go-to collaborator/producer for Solange, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, D’Angelo, and more tours behind his first solo album in eight years, the ambitious and personal Jimmy Lee (out August 23rd via Columbia). Saadiq also will headline this year’s Afropunk Paris festival.

La Santa Cecilia - Hollywood Bowl (LA, CA)


The GRAMMY-winning Mexican-American quartet fuses surf-rock riffs, hip-hop beats, classic-rock drive, and Spanish and English spoken word by frontwoman “La Marisoul,” who sings “like the love child of Janis Joplin and Celia Cruz” (LA Times). It’s a winning combination that shines live. On this short tour, the band will play songs off their self-titled new album (out October 11th via Rebeleon/Universal), including lead single “Winning.”
