Leyla McCalla – Winter Jazz Festival (NYC)


The New Orleans singer and songwriter plays music from her Haitian and protest-inspired latest album, The Capitalist Blues (1/25 via PIAS), with her band. McCalla, who counts the New York Times, Vogue, NPR and more as fans, has toured with Rhiannon Giddens and performed multiple times at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, as well as an event co-hosted by Solange to benefit the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans.

Rob Baird – Berlin (NYC)


This intimate album-release show with the Memphis-bred artist and his band will feature stories and acoustic performances of songs from his new album, After All (1/11 via Hard Luck Recording Company).

Guster – UCB East (NYC)


In honor of new album Look Alive (1/18 via Nettwerk/Ocho Mule), the storied band joins Connor Ratliff (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Orange Is The New Black, Search Party) and Michael Cruz Kayne (Billy On The Street) as the special guest of the sold-out, hour-long “TRI: An Improv Show.” The band will participate in skits throughout the night, and surprises are sure to ensue.

Guster – The Strand (NYC)


The band hosts an evening of live music and conversation at The Strand's Rare Book Room, moderated by Emmy winner Ted Allen, host of Chopped and a member of the original Queer Eye cast. Guster will perform acoustic renditions of songs from new album Look Alive (1/18 via Nettwerk/Ocho Mule), answer audience questions and sign copies of the LP.
