Morrissey/ ‘Low in High School’/ BMG


The icon’s talent for combining political statements and beautiful melodies is more prevalent than ever as he captures the zeitgeist of an ever-changing world. Morrissey’s 11th studio album was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in France and Ennio Morricone's Forum Studios in Rome. The record is produced by Joe Chiccarelli (Frank Zappa, The Strokes, Beck, The White Stripes).

Bruno Major/ ‘A Song for Every Moon’/ Kobalt


Over the past year, the pop-leaning R&B songwriter from North London wrote and released a new song each month; these self-inflicted deadlines portray a young songwriter channeling the sights and sounds of 12 moon cycles. Now all 12 tracks are collected in one place and will be released physically for the first time.

Us The Duo/ ‘Our Favorite Time Of Year’/ Amazon Original


Musical husband-and-wife duo Michael and Carissa Alvarado, who have sold out headlining shows around the world with their harmonies and infectious covers and originals, release their first Christmas album. The collection features renditions of holiday classics such as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” as well as originals “Christmas in Paradise” and “December.”

Vitamin String Quartet/ ‘Vitamin String Quartet: The World of Studio Ghibli’/ CMH Label Group


The series that redesigns the music of Kanye West, Ozzy Osbourne, Radiohead and more as classical arrangements now takes on Studio Ghibli, one of Japan’s most critically acclaimed animation film studios. Highlights from the soundtracks of Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke and more get an unlikely twist from the chamber quartet that “[transforms] your favorite pop songs into works of art” (Buzzfeed). A 12/1 digital release will follow this special Black Friday Record Story Day vinyl edition.
