Moz makes his Broadway debut with this intimate career-retrospective show covering his early days to his new covers album, California Son (5/24 via Etienne Records/BMG). Longtime fans will get a rare opportunity to see the star enter new territory and take the stage in another milestone for an already storied career. Show days are May 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, and 11.

Eli “Paperboy” Reed – (Le) Poisson Rouge (NYC)


The Brooklyn soul singer, with his horn-heavy live band, tours the US following the release of his exuberant new album, 99 Cent Dreams (Yep Roc). The LP marks a return to the timeless music Reed fell in love with as a young man – performing in the juke joints of Clarksdale, MS, and the Chicago church of Chess Records artist-turned-preacher Mitty Collier.

PJ Morton

PJ Morton – City Winery (NYC)


After winning a GRAMMY and selling out his first headlining Kennedy Center performance, the busiest man in R&B announces a career first: a “Keys & A Mic” tour. Morton will perform acoustic sets in the smallest rooms he's played in years accompanied by sister duo The Amours, who also appear on his GRAMMY-nominated live album, Gumbo Unplugged.

Berlin’s DIY ambassador makes her “Mirrors” Tour – the first US tour of her career — a spiritual musical experience with the pulsating synths and somber electro-pop of her melancholic Patience EP. Like the EP, Mogli’s live performance is a perspective-shifting affair.

Lee Fields & The Expressions – Brooklyn Steel (Brooklyn, NY)


The 68-year-old Godfather of the New York Soul Revival and “the coolest mother****er to sing words into a microphone” (Vice) celebrates his 50+-year career with an extensive international headlining tour. Fields' longtime backing band, The Expressions, joins the tour, and together they will debut music from the new album, It Rains Love (Big Crown Records).

Black Pumas – Knitting Factory (Brooklyn, NY)


“The breakout band of 2019” (NPR) makes its NYC debut. Eric Burton and Adrian Quesada show off their Austin-bred “Wu-Tang Clan meets James Brown” (KCRW) sound best fit for the live stage; Rolling Stone named them “One Of The 30 Best Bands We Saw In Austin” during this year’s SXSW.

Junius Meyvant – Baby’s All Right (Brooklyn, NY)


The 2019 NPR “Artist to Watch” from Iceland returns to the US for a mini-tour with his six-piece band. Horn section included. Across The Borders, Meyvant’s Glassnote debut from earlier this year, earned nods from NPR Music, Rolling Stone, and TIME, which featured album standout “New Waves” in its “Songs You Need to Listen To” release week roundup alongside Vampire Weekend and Dua Lipa.

Dan Tepfer – Bar Bayeux (Brooklyn, NY)


“One of the moment’s most adventurous and relevant musicians” (New York Magazine) explores the possibilities of real-time VR with his new interactive performance. Each show features live visuals rendered by Tepfer's playing in real time. The projections take the sonic data from his Disklavier piano to represent foundational aspects of each piece – pitch, dynamics, rhythm, harmony, and more – in both two dimensions and virtual reality.

Chaos Chaos – Market Hotel (Brooklyn, NY)


Asya and Chloe Saavedra’s live show is as glossy, brainy, and infectious as its new single, “Armed And Dangerous.” The sister duo – playing drums and synth respectively – are joined by a full band for these select dates. Together, the sisters have performed with Pearl Jam, Death Cab For Cutie, Sleater-Kinney, and more.

Henry Jamison – Rough Trade (Brooklyn, NY)


The Burlington, VT, singer-songwriter deconstructing “toxic fraternity” on new album Gloria Duplex (Akira Records) presents his first headlining tour. Jamison has spent years honing his live chops touring internationally with Big Thief, Caroline Rose, Darlingside, Nick Hakim, Guster, and more. Rolling Stone recently praised Jamison’s “dreamy and downy soft, laced with orchestral strings and a Sufjan Stevens-worthy vocal" folk arrangements, which now will be fleshed out on stage with a full band.

Tal Wilkenfeld – Brooklyn Bowl (Brooklyn, NY)


The “formidable singer-songwriter” (Rolling Stone) and bassist for Jeff Beck, Prince, Herbie Hancock, and more embarks on a full-band headlining tour. She’ll highlight songs from Love Remains, a debut album featuring singing that Billboard calls “rich, expressive.”
