The group’s cover of “Stand By Me” at The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry of Wales and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, at Windsor Castle has over two billion views.

South Carolina’s global Gullahambassadors and the Billboard chart-toppers making “soulful honey to the ears” (NPR) play a two-night stand at the legendary Manhattan jazz club. The Cinematic Orchestra – Brooklyn Steel (Brooklyn, NY)


For their first US tour in over a decade, Jason Swinscoe and Dom Smith will lead a seven-piece band of virtuosic performers, all of whom are long-standing members of the revered electronic group. The tour follows a three-night run of hometown shows at London’s Roundhouse, which the Times of London called “atmospheric … transporting.”

Intelligence Squared U.S. Debates “Capitalism Is a Blessing” – Kaye Playhouse (NYC)


Intelligence Squared U.S. concludes their fall season with a live debate on "Capitalism Is a Blessing." Arguing in favor: John Mackey, co-founder and CEO of Whole Foods, and Katherine Mangu-Ward, editor-in-chief of Libertarian magazine Reason. Arguing against: Bhaskar Sunkara, founding editor of socialist magazine Jacobin, and Professor Richard D. Wolff, a Marxian economist.

JJ Wilde – Mercury Lounge (NYC)


The “fiercely unapologetic” (Atwood) rocker embarks on her debut headlining tour. Earlier this summer, she played shows with The Glorious Sons, The Struts, Reignwolf, and Incubus. Her live set is a no-holds-barred rush of raw emotion and swagger. Atwood continues that “her electric presence transfers over to dynamic vocals and powerfully expressive guitar work.”

Joan Shelley – Park Church Co-Op (Brooklyn, NY)


The Louisville native with “one of the loveliest voices in music” (Rolling Stone), extends her headlining fall tour. She’ll play songs off her upcoming record Like The River Loves The Sea (No Quarter Records), which was inspired by, and recorded in, Reykjavík, Iceland; The New York Times, NPR Music, Stereogum, Uproxx, and more are already fans of the new music.

Mandolin Orange – Brooklyn Steel (Brooklyn, NY)


“One of North Carolina’s most significant bands” (NPR) embarks on their biggest tour yet play their largest venues to date. These shows are an extension of Mandolin Orange’s huge 2019, which included over 45 sold-out dates in the US and Europe as well as a headlining slot at Pickathon. The group that “helped redefine American roots music for a younger generation” (Washington Post) just taped a Tiny Desk (out later this summer) and are well on their way to selling out two headlining shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
