Jackie Greene – The Cowan (Nashville)


Greene presents “The Modern Lives - IN CONCERT.” This eye-popping visual production was inspired by “The Modern Lives,” Greene’s short film collaboration with Oscar-nominated animator Bill Plympton (Madonna, “Weird” Al Yankovic, Kanye West) and designed by Cour Design (Paramore, LCD Soundsystem). This tour supports Greene’s new EP, The Modern Lives - Vol 2 (10/5 via Blue Rose Music) and features his new live band consisting of GRAMMY-winning producer and keyboardist Shannon Sanders (John Legend, Jonny Lang, Robert Randolph) alongside Nathan Dale (guitar) and newcomers Megan Coleman (percussion), Jon “Smoke” Lucas (drums) and Ben Rubin (bass).

Ana Popovic – City Winery (Nashville)


One of the world’s most respected blues and rock guitarists headlines this performance in honor of her new album, the female-empowering concept LP Like It On Top. Popovic, whom NPR praised for her “fiery technique on the [Stratocaster],” and her six-piece band have shared stages with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa and more.

Adam Hood - High Watt (Nashville)


The Alabama songwriter (Miranda Lambert, Brent Cobb, Anderson East, Lee Ann Womack, Little Big Town) plays an album release party on the eve of his debut LP, Somewhere In Between (10/12 via Southern Songs). Hood has been performing since age 16 when he began playing weekly hometown shows, and he hasn’t stopped since. His current tour with his band features new songs from his new album that were intentionally recorded to match his raw live shows.

Amy Helm – 3rd & Lindsley (Nashville)


Helm and her band tour behind new album This Too Shall Light (Yep Roc) through the summer and fall. Helm’s vibrant new album, inspired by the likes of Allen Toussaint and Milk Carton Kids, follows her 2015 solo debut, Didn’t It Rain, which NPR called a “glorious, soulful” set that “ushers in a new chapter of Helm’s life.”

Boz Scaggs – Ryman Auditorium (Nashville)


The Versatile singer, songwriter and guitarist extends his “Out of the Blues Tour” with his band. Scaggs’ Out Of the Blues (Concord) continues a musical renaissance returning him to his earliest blues roots. Scaggs applies his iconic voice and gritty guitar playing to blues classics by Bobby “Blue” Bland, Jimmy Reed and Magic Sam; to a stirring reading of Neil Young’s “On the Beach”; and to new originals written with longtime collaborator Jack Walroth.

Dillon Carmichael – Whiskey Jam (Nashville)


Carmichael plays a full-band performance. The Knot just named Carmichael’s "Dancing Away With My Heart" one of The Best New Wedding Songs of 2018, joining Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Dan + Shay, Thomas Rhett, Cardi B, Beyoncé & Jay-Z, Drake, Shawn Mendes and John Legend.
